Well, I told you I would try to separate the facts from fiction about online businesses. But I think my blog is getting saturated with Business Opportunity Reviews so I’ve had enough of them for a while.
It is time to talk about the Internet Business Gurus.
There are 4 categories of Internet Business Gurus. I’ll be brief and not name the names. But they include:
- Those that know.
- Those that don’t know.
- Those that lie and say they know.
- Those that know but won’t tell you what they know.
Category 1 is that incredible bunch of folks out there who know how to make substantial income from online business. And many of them are so young to be Internet Business Gurus! It truly amazes me how successful these folks are and how willing some are to take you under their wing and teach you what they know. Often, it comes with a price, but not always.
Category 2 is that overwhelming number of people out there who are wanna-bees and are constantly striving to figure out the magic of making substantial income from online business. They are good to hang out with too for they are committed, know a lot, and some will get there.
Both of the first two categories are good people and understand that their success comes from making other people successful in their role as Internet Business Gurus.
Category 3 is that group of people out there who cannot be trusted. I say groups because they are not all the same. Scams are not all the same with the unique angles, the quick and the easy, and that is what puts them in various groups. But they all belong to one category, that is, they are liars and they only use you.
Category 4 is those folks who are quietly doing it and not sharing any of it. They may be fun to hang out with but probably are not and that’s what makes them category 4.
Now, one’s own personal journey through this web of mystery is driven by their belief in themselves and their ability to learn, while seeking that magical Internet knowledge.
Patience is a “must have” virtue. All beginners must learn. This is true in all aspects of life. Personal development is mandatory. So everyone who starts down the path in learning how to make money on the Internet runs into the Internet Business Gurus.
Many are eager to help you. Many will take your money.
But there are lessons to be learned from them. Many people need some coaching and mentoring or the Internet Business Gurus would not exist.
Follow me as I unravel the mystery, find the magic and learn to make substantial income from online businesses too. And check back regularly to see if I become an Internet Business Guru. Feel free to comment on this post.

It’s good you know this now. I have clients contact me every day that have wasted hundreds (some thousands) on garbage programs. I tell every single person starting online – buy NOTHING for at least 6+ months no matter how good it looks. There are NO SECRETS in online marketing, and every single shred of information in every package, ebook, membership site, and video course can absolutely be found FOR FREE in blogs and forums if you read long enough (which is how you learn anyway).
If someone is trying to push their product on you every second on their web site, then all their money comes from the product teaching people to make money online, and they don’t get any actual income from making money online themselves.

Yes, one learns about the Gurus early on. That is why there is so much attraction to online businesses. Their hype leads to hope.
You’re exactly right. That’s how many make their money, by taking yours. It’s a mutual admiration society too. It is like shooting fish in a barrel.
But beyond that, I am learning that one can succeed making money online. But it sure takes a lot of time and hard work. Heck…look who I’m trying to tell that to…
