It is possible to earn some money by advertising on many tight niches. It is rather simple. The key is to find niches that aren’t serviced at the moment. And they may be rare, but they do exist. Just think about all those things people search for on the Internet and find little information. It may be hard to believe, but there are many.
Build a content website targeting the niche. Then put up some advertising programs such as Adsense. Also, try to find some affiliate marketing programs that might cozy up to the niche and put them up on the site as well. Then just let it earn what it will.
It will not earn much, maybe $2-$3 a day. But if you do good research on the niche, a few dollars a day with an unserviced niche is very good. If successful, you can find another very tight niche and do it again. And again, and again until you have as many as you want.
If it is a real tight niche and untargeted, new content may be difficult. But you do not want to have to always add new content. You just want the search traffic. So it can all be on autopilot.
Now, this may fly in the face of what you have learned about good, regular blogging content, but the key is to find a niche that is not currently targeted. The traffic may be lower than popular niches, but if the niche does exist, it will have some traffic.
Make sure you are not wasting your time. Do your research first. Do some AdWords Google searches. Look for keywords and topics that have low competition yet have some traffic. Make sure there are some paid ads down the right hand side, meaning some advertisers are paying to reach these niche markets. Find topics that people search for and advertisers use pay-per-click marketing and other online advertising methods to sell to these people. Your site helps to bring the two together.
Finally, pick the untapped niche, build a simple site and fill it with appropriate content. You can do enough research to create some appropriate content. Visitors will come to your site once, read your content, maybe click on an ad and leave.
