Everyone and his brother who begins an online money making business instantly think they are an internet business coach. Never mind the fact they have not earned much money nor have many followers, they think any small experience qualifies them to be a mentor. They are then ready to teach you what you need to know and to help you get started.

I am amazed at the number of new people with less than two months presence on the internet who actually advertise themselves as an internet business coach. How can that be? Do they think what they know is that valuable? Do they think you are so dumb you must employ their service? Some people are so desperate to learn how to make money online that there is an expanding market for want to be internet business coaches and some do thrive.

They start building a list and start acting like an internet business coach.

More likely, many fake internet coaches are a portion of the failures that never make much money online.

It’s downright spooky to visit some websites, even those with some page rank, and they appear abandoned. Yet with closer inspection, these sites advertise themselves as mentors and offer coaching. I wonder where they went and why there is no new content on their blog. Are they now that busy they have no time for anything except mentoring and coaching? Or have they been so successful they are now retired with their toes in the sand on some far off beach? Let’s hope so, but I doubt it.

But for some, self proclamation seems to work. I mean, after all, one can say anything on the internet. Proving your worth is another matter. Establishing worth as a leader and someone to trust and someone who can provide value to all those looking for a solution to their problems is how it is done.

More important than relying on others to show you how to make money on the internet is having the self confidence you can succeed. You can be inspired by others’ successes but your success depends on yourself. Making money on the internet can be frustrating to anyone who is just beginning.

If it was so easy to make money online, there would not be so many internet business coaches.

Now with all of this being said, there are people who can help you as an internet money coach. Teaching you and mentoring your progress is very helpful for beginners. The trick is to know the real ones and to separate out the fake internet money making coaches.
